What is meta tags?
Meta tags is a some simple lines which describe about your blogger or website to a search engines. The meta tag is used by search engines to allow them to more accurately list your site in their indexes. It did not mean that search engines like google, yahoo or msn etc crawl your website if you use meta tag. So, it is not necessary to put meta tag in your website or blogger.
How can we create meta tags?
Meta tags generally describe three things- Keywords, Description & author of the website or blogger. you can easily make your own meta tag, see this meta tag in the picture below (example of online job website)
This is your choice you can add all three things (keyword, description & author) or any two or one thing. after adding your meta tag on blogger you also cross check by visiting google.com & type this keyword on search bar - 'meta tag analyzer' you get so many websites where you can check your meta tag status, even you can check meta tag of any website or blogger.
